THE USMCA AND ITS RAPID RESPONSE LABOR MECHANISM WHITH COMPANIES

The purpose of this article is to analyze the issue of the Rapid Response Mechanisms for the resolution of labor disputes provided for in Annex 31-A of the Agreement between Mexico, the United States and Canada (USMCA). The Treaty addresses various issues of industrial relations and workers' rights that must be observed by the three countries that signed it to improve working conditions in their respective countries. The rapid response mechanism was agreed to resolve alleged violations of freedom of association, collective bargaining or labor human rights in factories, companies or commercial establishments.
