The scientific journal Miguel Hernández Communication Journal has published the monograph Society and identity in Latin American and Spanish audiovisuals. The publication is coordinated by Ricardo Jimeno Aranda, Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Spain; and Gabriela Fabbro, Universidad Austral, Buenos Aires, Argentina, and contains articles that analyse the field of cinema in the Spanish, Argentinean and Mexican contexts. In the area of audiovisuals and television, another series of studies includes retrospective or current views, some of them recent, on the historical past.
