Contenidos promocionales innovadores en las megafranquicias cinematográficas: la web de El Hobbit

Abstract
Las megafranquicias cinematográficas hiperfragmentan las historias con la finalidad de incrementar el número de producciones y, cuando se agota esta vía, exploran otras partes del universo ficcional. Surgen, pues, megafranquicias cinematográficas, como La Tierra Media de Peter Jackson, que acumulan varias trilogías y necesitan formas de promoción más ambiciosas que incrementen las sinergias entre cada producción. En relación a esta necesidad, las páginas webs han experimentado un gran desarrollo tecnológico que permite explorar nuevos formatos y proposiciones comunicativas. Para detectar estos textos promocionales innovadores se ha realizado un análisis de contenido de la web oficial de El Hobbit: La batalla de los cinco ejércitos (2014), el cual está enfocado en localizar los vínculos establecidos entre varias partes (hipertextualidad) y las diversas proposiciones interactivas. Los resultados obtenidos muestran una nueva generación de contenidos promocionales que se caracterizan por sobrepasar el paratexto del film y estimular otra película del mismo universo ficcional, toda la trilogía o la saga, en general; y por configurarse como softwares para favorecer la personalización y el entretenimiento interactivo (visitas virtuales y videojuegos). En contrapunto, estos contenidos no utilizan ningún complemento de las redes sociales que facilite la interacción entre diversos usuarios, quedando relegadas al simple uso de ser compartidas por el usuario en sus perfiles sociales.
