Abstract
In current times, where artificial intelligence has become a protagonist in the field of communication and journalism, collective intelligence is gladly integrated through the collaborative work model: crowdsourcing, with which an amalgamation of knowledge and practices can be generated. characteristic of the digital ecosystem. The objective of this article was to systematize an academic exercise that took several class sessions and where the students of Social Communication and AI came together to generate an electronic book in which the AI tools that every journalist should know and use to optimize your work. Through a methodology called classroom project and using specialized applications and software such as Chat GPT, Dall-E, Adobe Indesign, Moodle, among others, it was possible to develop the three stages of pre-production, production and post-production of the editorial product and present the book. already finished to the virtual audience.
