Abstract
This review presents the main ideas of the work of the political scientist and jurist Victoria Rodríguez Blanco published in 2022 by Aula Magna publishing, this work is a compilation of opinion columns published in various media in recent years. The subject matter is varied and heterogeneous; corruption, political parties, education, judicial independence and public management continue to be topical concerns for citizens. The main idea that emerges in the review is the author's civic commitment and the role of the social scientist in this respect. The author is a social scientist who is involved in the transformation of the reality in which she lives, she is coherent and most of the articles suggest reforms that in her opinion would improve the democratic quality of the political system in Spain.
