Comunicación y salud en el ecosistema mediático

Abstract
A partir de una revisión de la literatura reciente, este texto introductorio del monográfico Comunicación y salud: retos y oportunidades muestra los ejes principales que estructuran la investigación sobre el tema: transformación del ecosistema mediático, alfabetización sanitaria, desinformación e infodemia, reconstrucción de la autoridad sanitaria mediante influencers y microinfluencers, impacto de la inteligencia artificial en la comunicación sobre salud y los retos derivados del envejecimiento y de la vulnerabilidad comunicativa. Se subraya desde una perspectiva crítica la necesidad de promover una comunicación sanitaria ética, rigurosa, accesible y basada en la evidencia, capaz de fortalecer la confianza pública y favorecer el establecimiento de una ciudadanía más informada. Los trabajos que integran este monográfico ofrecen una visión complementaria de estos desafíos y contribuyen a comprender el papel estratégico de la comunicación en la construcción social de la salud y el bienestar
