Abstract
Hoy en día, gracias a los diferentes medios de comunicación y a su gran variedad de formatos publicitarios, toda persona física o jurídica, pública o privada puede comunicar y trasmitir a los telespectadores todo tipo de bienes y servicios con el fin de promover de forma directa o indirecta la contratación de bienes y servicios, derechos u obligaciones.
En general la publicidad es la actividad de comunicación a la que se destinan más recursos económicos, realizándose principalmente esta actividad en las empresas. En el caso de la televisión ha sido y lo sigue siendo, el medio de comunicación más poderoso, ya que es capaz de llegar al telespectador de una manera visual y sonora, por lo que hace aún más fácil y rápida la comunicación entre ambos.
Por ello, a través del análisis y recorrido de varios formatos y estrategias de audiencias en televisión se va a comprobar las directrices editoriales que siguen dos cadenas de televisión generalistas privadas en España, es el caso de Antena 3 y Telecinco.
