Abstract

This research study addresses SDG 4 of the 2030 Agenda, which focuses on ensuring inclusive, equitable and quality education. The study is framed in an observational design of a qualitative nature and cross-sectional nature, aimed at a sample composed of 76 subjects, which includes active teachers of ESO, Baccalaureate and Vocational Training, as well as students of the Master's Degree in Teacher Training. Data collection was carried out by means of a questionnaire, used as a measurement instrument, structured in three different blocks. The results reveal a generally positive level of knowledge regarding the 2030 Agenda, although with notable conceptual deficiencies. In relation to SDG 4, although the study participants show more affinity with its principles, the implementation of inclusive, student-centered educational practices is partial and, at times, contradictory. Based on the results obtained, the need to strengthen both initial and ongoing teacher training in content related to sustainability, inclusion, and active methodologies is highlimited, in order to promote a coherent integration of these elements into training programs, with the aim of ensuring quality education.
