Additionally, indicate whether the research data consider gender, in order to identify potential differences.
  5. At the beginning of the manuscript, provide the title (with an English translation) and the name of the author(s), as well as their academic affiliation, if applicable (the first footnote should include the complete contact details of the author(s), postal address, and email address. Additionally, including the author's ORCID identifier is appreciated). The manuscript should include, in both Spanish and English, the abstract (i.e., a list of sections and subsections of the article) and three to five identifying keywords. Furthermore, include an abstract in Spanish and English, consisting of 400 to 500 words, reflecting the sections of the article: state of the art, content and development of the research, and conclusions. 9. Acknowledgment will be sent for all received manuscripts. The Editorial Board will decide within four months of receiving the manuscript whether to publish it or not, based on reports from at least two external anonymous reviewers, following the "double-blind" method. Evaluators have a form prepared by the Journal's Editorial Board for the preparation of their reports. The decision on publication will be communicated to the author, and if accepted, the assigned issue number of ROSM in which the work will be included will be provided. Publication may be subject to changes compared to the original version, especially to comply with publication guidelines.
  10. Articles returned for not complying with the publication guidelines may be resubmitted once the necessary modifications have been made.
  11. It is a condition for publication that the author(s) exclusively assign(s) reproduction rights to ROSM. If third-party requests are made to reproduce or translate articles or parts thereof, the decision will be made by the Editorial Board.
  12. The opinions expressed in the signed works are solely those of the authors. The publication of different articles does not imply adherence or agreement by the Journal of Marine Planning and Public Policies with the opinions held by the authors.
  13. ROSM does not charge any fees for article submission and processing, including receiving articles or their editing and processing.
