Predictores del Síndrome de Burnout en líderes de contexto organizacional

El Síndrome de Burnout es actualmente una de las principales enfermedades relacionadas con el trabajo debido a los estresores psicosociales persistentes en las organizaciones laborales. El objetivo de este estudio fue identificar el poder predictivo de las dimensiones Trabajo emocional, Inteligencia emocional y Conflictos emocionales para las dimensiones Síndrome de Burnout. La muestra estuvo conformada por 244 trabajadores que ocupaban cargos de dirección. Los instrumentos utilizados fueron el Cuestionario para la Evaluación del Síndrome de Quemarse por el Trabajo, Subescalas de Conflicto, dos Subescalas de Trabajo Emocional: Demandas emocionales y Disonancia emocional; Medida de Inteligencia Emocional y un cuestionario sociodemográfico y laboral. Los resultados, obtenidos a través del Análisis de Regresión Múltiple, identificaron la Disonancia emocional, las Demandas emocionales, la Automotivación y la Sociabilidad como variables predictoras de las dimensiones del Síndrome de Burnout. Así, se sugiere la atención a los aspectos emocionales involucrados en el trabajo como forma de prevención del Síndrome de Burnout.
