This study pursues two main objectives. Firstly, it conducts a literature review analysing the relationship between Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and the teaching of STEAM disciplines in Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO) and Post-Compulsory Secondary Education (Bachillerato), together with the role of public works and environmental and social sustainability in connection with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda. Secondly, it designs a teaching proposal for Year 10 students in the subject of Technology and Digitalisation, integrating competences and core knowledge from the renewable energy block within the field of civil engineering. The proposed hypothesis holds that the use of examples of public works in the classroom enhances learning in STEAM disciplines through ICT, while also fostering awareness of the SDGs. The proposal focuses on the design, construction and presentation of a scale model of a coastal harbour with navigation lights powered by wind turbines, promoting competence development and sustainability awareness by linking learning to real-world contexts.
