Educational aquatic activities for schools

Abstract

The study of aquatic activities has had a great boom in recent decades, moving away from the pigeonholing of competitive swimming and towards a much broader and enriching diversification. Moreno & Gutiérrez (1998) highlighted in their classification several areas of work in the aquatic environment, being the educational one of them. Given that the latter can be developed in various scenarios, in this case we have highlighted the school, due to its importance in the motor training of the human being.
