Infant motor development involves the acquisition and development, mainly between the ages of two and six, of a series of skills called basic motor skills or fundamental movements. These skills present a series of characteristics: they are common to all people, they have allowed the survival of human beings (phylogenetically speaking), and they are a basis for later motor learning (Ruiz, 1994)....
